Ranks and the Leaderboard

Every issue and pull request you complete across projects on Grainlify counts toward your standing in the community — shown as your rank and your position on the public leaderboard.

How your position is calculated

Your leaderboard position is based on your total number of issues and pull requests across every verified project on Grainlify. The more you contribute, the higher you climb.

Rank tiers

Your position places you into a tier, shown as a badge on your profile:

💎 Diamond21–50
🥇 Gold51–100

Viewing the leaderboard

Open the Leaderboard tab to see:

  • Every contributor's rank, tier badge, and total contributions
  • Which ecosystems they've contributed to
  • A toggle to switch to the Projects leaderboard — the most-contributed-to projects on Grainlify, rather than individual people

You can filter either view by ecosystem to see who's leading within a specific community.

Why it matters

Your rank is a public signal of how active a contributor you are — it's visible on your profile to anyone, including maintainers deciding who to assign an issue to. Climbing the leaderboard is as simple as continuing to apply, contribute, and get your pull requests merged.

Rank is reputational, not redeemable

Your tier is a badge, not a balance — it doesn't convert to USDC on its own. If you're looking for the path to an actual payout, that's your points balance, earned separately through referrals and social follows. See How Rewards Work for how the two connect.
